About This Product

The CAREL EVD series is the most versatile solution for managing CAREL and third-party valves for all EEV control requirements. In addition to the basic function of stabilizing superheat to the required value, this driver series offers great configuration flexibility and is compatible with a wide variety of refrigerants for any application, from small residential heat pumps to large industrial applications. from evaporators to precise air conditioning units for air conditioning and processing applications. The highly efficient and simple configuration and constantly improving compressor protection features make it the perfect driver for contractors and OEM production for the global market.

■Controller EVD Evolution features

The EVD Evolution series is an electronic expansion valve controller that is the latest model of CAREL drivers for superheat control. Compared to traditional EVD drivers, it has advanced features and a user interface that is easier to configure and use. With a graphic display and easy programming procedure, you only need to select four parameters (or three if available for CAREL valves) to get started. Select refrigerant, valve mode, pressure sensor type, and application type (chiller, display case, etc.) from the selection menu.

■Main functions

・Superheat control with high pressure, low pressure, and low superheat protection ・Assist with startup procedure (selection of 4 parameters only) ・Connection diagram display - Removable graphic LCD, multilingual interface with online help for parameter, SI and unit display -Manage users with password access to different configuration levels ・Copying parameters to the driver by replacing the display ・LED for monitoring main parameters ・Low power ratiometric pressure sensor with 40-20mA output (can be shared by multiple drivers) ・Digital input to manage defrost ・Backup probe can be used In combination with the CAREL ExV series electronic expansion valves, the EVD Evolution driver forms an integrated control system that optimizes evaporator operation and achieves high levels of energy savings.
