About This Product

■Hermetic Miracle 4 Adhesive Version PP, Compliant with Various Environmental Requirements

The small tube type of the Hermetic adhesive "Miracle 4", which customers had frequently asked about, is finally on sale. Each tube holds 135 mL and is a single-use type. Three color tones are available: ivory, gray, and black. Miracle 4 is a solvent-free, one-component, moisture-curing elastic adhesive based on a special urethane resin that meets environmental requirements and can be used for a wide range of applications. Miracle 4 adhesive now makes strong bonding possible even with resins that were conventionally regarded as difficult to bond, such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) . No primer treatment is required. Its greatest feature is the bonding of hard-to-bond materials.

It bonds strongly not only to PP and PE but also to products made of rubber, FRP, and similar materials.

■Compliant with Various Environmental Requirements

・It does not use any of the 13 substances for which the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has set guideline values. ・A VOC-conscious product ・Conforms to water quality standards (JWWA K146) ・It also complies with the RoHS Directive, the PRTR Act, and other regulations.

■Handling Precautions

This product may cause skin irritation, poisoning, or other health problems if it contacts the skin or if its vapors are inhaled. Please observe the following precautions and handle it correctly. 1. Do not use the product for any purpose other than the specified applications. 2. Ventilate the work area thoroughly. 3. Take sufficient care not to let the product touch your skin during handling, and wear protective equipment. If it does contact the skin, wash it off immediately with soapy water or similar. Consult a physician if necessary. 4. Wash your hands and gargle thoroughly after handling. 5. Dispose of the liquid in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. 6. Take care in use, storage, and disposal so that infants and children cannot come into contact with the product. 7. Use the product within approximately one year after shipment.

■Storage

Store in a cool, dark place at 40°C or below. Once opened, use up the product promptly.

■EPDM and Urethane Rubber

Because the adherend is flexible, the bonded area (the stress-bearing area) becomes linear, so the values are low. Please note that peel strength is low.
