■Product overview
IP605 is a KVM switching extension unit that switches and operates multiple PCs remotely. In addition to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, you can also connect other USB devices such as printers, memory, and HDDs. Multiple PCs: Of course, one PC can be shared by multiple KVMs.
■Switch and operate multiple PCs remotely
IP605 switches and operates multiple PCs (servers) from a remote location. Switching between PCs is done using the keyboard of the receiver. You can switch in sequence by pressing "Scroll Lock" + "Scroll Lock" + "Number keys" on the keyboard, or "Scroll Lock" + "Scroll Lock" + "↑↓".
Use a LAN cable (CAT-6/6e) for extension. Gigabit HUB is recommended for HUB. The maximum distance between the transmitter and the HUB is 100m. Please extend it to any length within this distance. Up to 16 PCs can be connected. The maximum display resolution is Full HD 1,920x1,080.
■Share and operate one PC in multiple remote locations
IP605 is a device that allows you to switch and display/operate multiple PCs from a remote location, but it is also possible to remotely control one PC using multiple monitors, mice, and keyboards.
■Extend via media converter
IP605 has a 1:1 ratio of 100m in total, and can be extended up to 200m via HUB. If you need to extend the length beyond that, you can use a "media converter" used for LAN extension to extend the length beyond the default length.
For example, even if you already have a media converter installed, you can further extend your monitor, mouse, and keyboard by connecting an IP605 transmitter and receiver before and after the media converter.
