The SOP series is a KVM extender that displays clear images without degrading the image quality even at maximum extension. In addition to the monitor, it extends the mouse, keyboard, and audio, and displays up to 4K30Hz (3,840 x 2,160) resolution. Since it is an optical cable, you can install it with confidence even in locations where there are concerns about the installation environment.

The SOP series is a device that extends HDMI monitors and USB mice/keyboards over long distances using optical cables. There is no need to adjust image quality or color shift on the extended monitor, and the high resolution of Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) to 4K30Hz (3,840 x 2,160) is maintained even at maximum extension. Since it uses an optical cable, it can be installed with confidence even in sites where there are concerns about the external environment, such as noise affecting monitor display or keyboard malfunction.
■Equipped with EDID acquisition (retention) function
The monitor stores detailed monitor information called EDID (Extended Display Identification Data). The EDID includes the monitor's optimal resolution, frequency, aspect ratio, manufacturer name, model name, etc.
The PC graphic board uses a signal format called DDC, which reads the EDID in the monitor when the PC is started up, and outputs a signal according to the resolution of the monitor based on the acquired information. However, if the monitor is not powered on, monitor information cannot be obtained, and the PC outputs the signal using the default resolution installed on the graphics board. (Please note that some older monitors do not have an EDID.)
There is no problem if the resolution matches coincidentally, but if you output at a resolution different from that of the extended monitor, the extended monitor will not be able to receive the output signal because it does not have the appropriate resolution and will not display it, or it will display the image too large or misaligned. , there are various effects. Therefore, the SOP series is equipped with a function that stores the EDID (monitor information) of the extended monitor in the transmitter in advance.
