About This Product

■Product overview

The SK-981 series is a dual-purpose extender that is equipped with an optical module and a LAN port. The optical module uses 1LC (1 core) single mode and multimode, and the LAN port uses Cat-5e/6, and can be extended up to 20 km for optical and 152 m for LAN. Please use the appropriate one according to the installation environment. In addition, you can now connect USB devices such as a touch panel monitor, printer, and USB memory to the extended USB port, in addition to a mouse/keyboard. By connecting multiple receivers to one transmitter, you can share and operate your PC from a remote location. Mixing of HDMI and DVI is also possible.

■Equipped with optical module and LAN port as standard

The SK-981 series is an extender that extends your monitor, mouse, and keyboard. Equipped with an optical module and a LAN port, both can be extended. The installed optical module supports single mode and multimode. The extension distance is up to 20km in single mode and up to 2km in multimode. The optical connector used is a 1-core LC-LC. (If you want to use 2 cores in a multimode cable, we have a compatible SFP available). The supported resolution can be displayed at 4K30Hz even if extended to the maximum. The LAN cable is Cat-5e/6. Please use straight T-568B wiring (cannot be used with T-568A wiring). The supported resolution is up to 4K30Hz.
