Extend your HDMI monitor up to 100m using only the power from the transmitter. The maximum resolution is 4K30Hz (3,840 x 2,160). Uncompressed, there is no video or audio delay.
■Extend HDMI up to 100m with a LAN cable
POC-104K is an extender that extends your HDMI monitor using a commercially available LAN cable. Extends up to 80m when using CAT-5e and 100m when using CAT-6. The extended monitor resolution supports high resolutions up to 4K (3,840 x 2,160/30Hz).
It supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) and supplies power from the transmitter via the LAN cable, so the extended receiver does not require a power supply. Since the transfer is uncompressed, there is no time lag in the destination monitor image.
■Convert and extend
If your PC does not have an HDMI port, the POC-104K can be used to extend other ports by using a conversion connector or converter.
■EDID acquisition and storage
The monitor stores detailed monitor information called EDID (Extended Display Identification Data). The EDID includes the monitor's optimal resolution, frequency, aspect ratio, manufacturer name, model name, etc.
Depending on the monitor, there are types of monitors that may cause various phenomena such as the screen shifting or not displaying anything other than the signal output according to the installed EDID. In such cases, these phenomena can be resolved by storing the EDID of the extended monitor in the transmitter.
To cancel EDID, press and hold the EDID button on the front of the transmitter for 5 seconds. The release is complete when the STA LED (blue) blinks three times and then turns solid.
