About This Product
■Extend HDMI monitor and audio up to 120m with CAT-6
CAS-102V4 is an extension unit that extends your HDMI monitor (& audio) using a commercially available LAN cable. The extension distance varies depending on the LAN cable category.
It can be extended up to 100m when using CAT-5e and up to 120m when using CAT-6. Displays full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080) regardless of distance.
*In order to smoothly transfer large amounts of video data, we recommend a Cat,6 (1,000baseTx compatible) LAN cable.
*Since the signal is compressed and transferred, there will be a time lag of about 0.03 seconds.
CAS-102V4 does not have a local monitor output port.
If you need to install a monitor on the video output device side such as a desktop computer, connect an HDMI monitor distributor (HMI01-04, etc.) and display the local monitor.
■Extend via Gigabit switching HUB
It is also possible to extend the monitor via a commercially available Gigabit switching HUB (hereinafter referred to as Gbit-HUB). The distance from the HUB is up to 100m for CAT-5e and 120m for CAT-6. Various layouts are possible using this connection.
You can add more monitors by connecting a receiver (Rx) to the connected HUB. There is no limit to the maximum extension distance as long as it is within the HUB specifications and network standards.
*If multiple receivers are connected to the company/internal LAN and large amounts of data (image data, etc.) are constantly transferred, the communication environment may be affected (communication becomes slow, etc.), so separate dedicated We recommend building and extending the line.
■Supported resolution
・Supported resolution: Up to 1,080p (Full HD) 1,920×1,080 (16:9) regardless of distance
・Other supported resolutions: 480i/p 720×480 (4:3/16:9), 1,024×576 (16:9) 720p 1,280×720 (16:9), 1,366×768 (16:9)
*Square monitors are not supported.
