■Product overview
PVD-1310 is a connector type DVI extender that extends a DVI monitor up to 1km using an optical cable. Since it uses an optical cable, it is resistant to external noise and can be installed safely even in poor environments.
The destination monitor is free from blurring, ghosting, and color shift, and there is no need to adjust the image quality at the destination. Maintains high resolution of Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) and WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) even at maximum extension.
■Extends 500m in multi mode, 1km in single mode
The optical cable used with the PVD-1310 is an LC-LC 1-core (1LC). It supports both single mode and multimode, and supports extensions of MAX 500m in multimode and MAX 1km in single mode.
■EDID is pass-through
The EDID acquisition method for PVD-1310 is done through pass-through. This is an image of connecting the cable directly.
Connect the transmitter/receiver with an optical cable, turn on the power, and transfer the EDID to the PC when connected to the PC and monitor. (There is no need to turn off the power of the PC or monitor at this time)
■Distribution extension
When extending the monitor using the PVD-1310, if a local monitor on the PC side is required, use another monitor port installed on the PC or extend the distribution using a DVI distributor. I will.
■4K display with HDMI conversion
PVD-1310 is a DVI1.0 compatible extender, but the transfer speed is 10Gbps, so if you convert and connect HDMI, you can display 4K30Hz.
■USB power supply
The PVD-1310 comes with a USB cable (Type A-micro B/approx. 50cm) for power supply and a USB power adapter. As a general rule, power is supplied to the main unit using the included power adapter, but if the PC has an available USB port or a monitor with a USB port, it can also operate using power from those USB ports. .
*The condition is that 5V1A is stably supplied from the USB port.
■Status LED display
The transmitter/receiver is equipped with an LED in the center of the main body. The status of the device can be confirmed by the color of the LED display.
