■Extend your HDMI monitor up to 100m with a LAN cable
HME100-TR is an extender that extends your HDMI monitor using a commercially available LAN cable. Since it is extended using a LAN cable, it can be proposed as an alternative to locations where installation and routing are difficult, or where optical hybrid cables are difficult due to cost considerations.
HME100-TR does not have a local port, so if you want to install a monitor on the PC side, output from another available monitor port on the PC, or use an HDMI monitor distributor to connect the monitor to the PC side. I will set it up. When using a distributor, it is possible to extend the distribution to multiple remote locations in the same way as an extension cable.
■Extension of external audio
HME100-TR can extend HDMI audio. If the monitor has a built-in speaker, the audio will be output from the monitor via the HDMI signal. If you want to install external speakers at the extension destination and output audio, you can output audio using the stereo port.
■IR (infrared) remote control operation
HME100-TR allows you to switch channels on remote TV tuners, DVD players, etc. Almost all source devices that can be operated with an infrared remote control can be operated. You can connect the included infrared receiver (for infrared remote control) to the IR-TX/RX on the back and use the source device's remote control to operate from a remote location.
