About This Product

Metal O-Seal is a gasket that seals using the reaction force caused by crushing (compression). The perforated type is recommended for high pressures of 7MPa or higher because the sealing performance is improved by the fluid that enters the hollow part of the ring.

■Structure

・A gasket made of a thin metal tube shaped into an O-ring, the end faces welded, and the surface finished with ultra-precision. ・TOMBO No.9200V has two or more small holes in the inner ring (for internal pressure) or outside (for external pressure), allowing fluid to enter the ring and creating self-tightening properties. ・Since it is used by placing it in a groove and tightening it, high-pressure sealing can be achieved with a small tightening force.

■Features

- Stable and high sealing performance can be obtained over a wide range of conditions, from high temperature to low temperature, and from high pressure to vacuum. ・PTFE coating or silver plating specifications are recommended for gas, vacuum, and highly volatile fluids.
