■0.3mm pitch Compact stacking type board-to-board (FPC) connector with power terminal
Currently, high-performance compact wearable devices such as smart watches, which are becoming more popular, use smaller boards with less mounting area than smartphones, etc., and the density inside the devices is increasing. As functionality continues to evolve, packaging density will continue to increase, and connectors will be required to be smaller and have narrower pitches. Furthermore, in smartphones, the connector mounting space is expected to become more densely packed due to the increase in the number of camera modules, etc.
This product is designed to further increase the density of the connector mounting space, and has a pitch of 0.3mm, which is 0.05mm narrower than the conventional product for wearable devices (pitch 0.35mm, width 1.6mm). I've kept it short. In addition, similar to conventional products, the hold-downs placed at both ends of the connector are used as power terminals to achieve miniaturization, and the structure is also robust by providing protective metal fittings on the mating surface and the molded part of the suction part. It becomes. Furthermore, the guiding structure of the protective metal fittings improves alignment and provides good workability.
