About This Product
■Compact stacking type board-to-board (FPC) connector with mating height 0.6 mm, mating part pitch 0.25 mm, mounting part pitch 0.5 mm, and 8A power terminal.
In small devices such as smartphones and wearable devices, mounting boards are becoming denser. Additionally, with the spread of USB Type-C, there is an increasing need to support large currents such as quick charging. This product is a board-to-board (connector) that has a quad row arrangement with a mating part pitch of 0.25mm and a mounting part pitch of 0.5mm, and an 8A power terminal holddown.
As with conventional products, surface wiring is possible using inexpensive double-sided FPC. The power terminal holddown supports 8A, and in conventional board-to-board connectors, a 3A power terminal may not be enough, but with the WP86SD, only the power terminal is used without using a signal terminal. It can be used for power supply applications such as quick charging. Furthermore, the mating surface and the molded part of the suction part are equipped with protective metal fittings, increasing robustness.
