About This Product

This starter kit is designed to be easy to use even for first-time users. You can easily try synthesizing membrane proteins using the wheat germ cell-free protein synthesis system.

■Features

・Membrane proteins are synthesized as proteoliposomes using liposomes. - No reagent preparation required. - All reagents required for each reaction are dispensed into tubes. ・Protein synthesis is possible with just a few pipette operations. ・Target protein can be confirmed by SDS-PAGE/CBB staining. ・Contains 240ul reaction scale for 8 reactions.

■Recommended for the following people

・For those who would like to easily try confirming the expression of membrane proteins using the wheat germ cell-free protein synthesis system. ・For those who are having trouble expressing membrane proteins using other protein expression systems. Reagents necessary for one reaction are dispensed per tube, so no reagent adjustment is necessary. You can cut out the tubes for the number of reactions you need and use them as is. Regarding the size of the azolectin liposomes used in this product: Since the reagents are premixed in this product, rehydration and sonication of the liposomes cannot be performed before the reaction. On the other hand, liposomes increase in size when frozen and thawed. Therefore, the size of the liposomes during reaction with this kit is larger than the 150 nm obtained by rehydration and sonication. If your protein is cell membrane-bound or a single-pass membrane-spanning protein, please consider the following products. Membrane proteins tend to be formed from wheat endogenous lipids contained in wheat germ extract. Domestic laws and regulations
