■Human protein bead array
・Our human protein bead array, which contains proteins corresponding to up to approximately 80% of all human genes, has various characteristics.
・We will provide interaction analysis services between molecules and proteins, including various modalities, using various human protein bead arrays.
・Currently, we have a human 23K protein bead array with 23,000 types of human proteins mounted on 36 1,536-well plates for comprehensive genome-wide analysis, and a category array that classifies and arrays proteins by type from the clone library. We also offer diversity arrays containing 118 human proteins carefully selected from categories such as protein kinases, E3 ligases, DNA-binding proteins, and deubiquitinating enzymes.
Characteristics of human protein bead array
■About 23,000 human clone libraries
Based on the world's largest human clone library (JBiC Clone), which covers approximately 20,000 types of human genes, created by NEDO's FLJ-PJ: full-length human cDNA sequencing project (1996-2006), Furthermore, with the cooperation of Ehime University and the Kazusa DNA Institute (Kazusa Clone), the number of clones has been expanded to approximately 23,000. The human 23K protein bead array contains all the proteins.
■Protein non-denaturing immobilization
The proteins loaded on the human protein bead array are bound to magnetic beads and immobilized on a magnetic plate. These proteins are maintained in solution from synthesis to array formation to evaluation testing, making it possible to assay proteins in their non-denatured state.
■Wheat germ cell-free protein synthesis
The proteins currently loaded are synthesized using our wheat germ cell-free synthesis system, which has a superior synthesis success rate and solubilization rate compared to other expression systems.
