■Tightening management at important fastening points

Bolt fastening force (axial force) can be measured with higher accuracy than the torque method or angle method. Ideal for controlling bolt tightening at important fastening points such as wind turbines and power plants.

■Determination of tightening torque and angle

Torque and angle can be determined based on the actual axial force displayed on the axial force meter. In the automobile assembly industry, fastening is controlled by torque and angle on the line, and this can be used as a master machine for determining torque and angle.

■Instead of strain gauge

Compared to strain gauges, measurements can be made with less time and cost. This allows you to increase the number of measurement samples and perform highly reliable tests. It is also possible to measure bolts with small diameters that are difficult to measure with strain gauges.

■Checking the change in axial force over time

From short-term axial force changes before and after durability tests and vibration experiments, it is possible to manage long-term changes in axial force over a period of several months or more.

■Features

BOLT-MAXⅡ is a high-performance ultrasonic bolt axial force meter equipped with advanced technology in a compact body. It has been reborn as Ver.2, with the same exterior appearance and new internal hardware. BOLT-MAXⅡ Ver.2 has achieved an overwhelming measurement range of 6mm to 15m in total length, which far exceeds that of conventional equipment, and has also greatly improved measurement accuracy. The "Autoset" function that automatically detects echoes uses an improved algorithm to more reliably detect echoes and automatically sets sensitivity and threshold values. Pulse voltage and damping can now be adjusted, allowing flexible echo adjustment. It is also compatible with 15MHz and 20MHz high frequency transducers and accurately measures even the slightest difference in axial force. It has a built-in large capacity memory of 4GB, and can also be powered from a mobile battery or computer's USB connector. In addition to IP65 dust-proof and drip-proof performance, you can use it with confidence thanks to a 5-year warranty, the longest in the industry.
