About This Product

■Summary

AiS series is a pulse train input type closed loop stepping system. This product allows precise position control through the encoder on the back of the motor, and is effective for single pitch motion with position determination due to quick response. In addition, tuning can be easily done by setting the speed filter and position control gain using external switches.

■Features

・Real-time position control is possible with closed loop control. ・High-speed and high-torque operation without step-out is possible ・Supports simple operating environment settings using external switches (Gain, speed filter, in-position, resolution settings) ・Supports motor lineup with brakes ・Supports geared/rotary actuator integrated motor lineup

■Closed loop stepping control

By feeding back real-time position information using an encoder attached to the rear of the stepping motor, we have solved both the step-out phenomenon, which is a disadvantage of stepping, and the hunting phenomenon, which is a disadvantage of servo control.

■Tuning with external switch

External switches allow easy on-site settings for operating environment and range.

■Lineup of models with brakes

A motor with a brake and a control driver enable stable control in vertical load environments. Stability and appearance design have been improved by attaching the brake to the rear of the motor.
