■Summary

AiC-EC series is an EtherCAT communication type closed loop stepping system. This product provides seamless compatibility with various masters/slaves that support open protocol communication EtherCAT, and is effective for simultaneous multi-axis synchronous control at 100Mbps communication speed.

■Features

・Real-time position control is possible with closed loop control. ・High-speed and high-torque operation without step-out is possible ・Multi-axis simultaneous control possible with EtherCAT communication support ・Provision of Windows program atMotion for parameter setting and monitoring ・Alarms and status can be checked on the 7-segment display ・Supports motor lineup with brakes ・Supports geared/rotary actuator integrated motor lineup

■Closed loop stepping control

By feeding back real-time position information using an encoder attached to the rear of the stepping motor, we have solved both the step-out phenomenon, which is a disadvantage of stepping, and the hunting phenomenon, which is a disadvantage of servo control.

■EtherCAT communication control

AiC-EC series is advantageous for real-time multi-axis synchronous control with EtherCAT communication that supports 100Mbps communication speed. We have completed compatibility testing through the ETG Association to ensure compatibility with a variety of masters.

■Motion device program provided by atMotion

The intuitive UI of the motion device integrated management program atMotion has improved the convenience of parameter setting and monitoring.

■Lineup of models with brakes

A motor with a brake and a control driver enable stable control in vertical load environments. Clean wiring management is possible by mounting the brake on the rear side and configuring the brake connector separately.
