About This Product

■Summary

"HP Sponge®" is a revolutionary elastomer sponge product made by foaming elastomer using Hotty Polymer Co., Ltd.'s unique compounding technology. It has excellent compression set under general environment. In addition, since elastomer is originally light with a low specific gravity, it is now possible to further reduce the weight of the product by foaming it. Moreover, its high volume resistivity makes it ideal for electrical insulation applications. Furthermore, it can be colored, which is difficult to do with general industrial rubber sponges, and can also be extruded into different shapes. Anti-sticking properties can be improved by using the "HP Sponge® exclusive anti-sticking treatment". Features

■High resilience

It has excellent compression set at room temperature and exhibits performance comparable to EP.

■Environmental friendliness

Compared to rubber, it emits less carbon dioxide during manufacturing and is environmentally friendly.

■Colorability

Unlike rubber, which is difficult to color, it is made of resin and can be colored (negotiable).

■Economy

Since the manufacturing method is different from that of rubber sponges, production costs can be reduced.

■Lighter weight

Further weight reduction is possible by foaming a low specific gravity elastomer.

■Low water absorption

It has low water absorption and can be used as a waterproof packing.

■Applications

Gaskets, packing, sealing materials, sound absorbing materials, insulation materials, etc. for automobiles, civil engineering, construction, and various precision equipment. The uses are wide and varied.
