About This Product

■Easy to use and capable of long operationWhile ruggedly designed to withstand use in demanding environments such as warehouses, distribution, and production lines, its design is stylish enough for use where customers can see it, for example in boutique retail stores.
It is comfortable even for long periods of use, and it is compact and light enough to fit in a pocket.

■High ruggedness and waterproof design・The housing is rugged enough to withstand a 1.5 m drop onto concrete.
・It conforms to IP54, so it can be used in environments with dust and water droplets.

■Can be used with almost every computer, including iPhone and iPad・The DuraScan™ D700/D730 uses class 1 Bluetooth communication, so the DuraScan™ D700/D730 and the computer device can be used up to 100 m apart.
・The supported Bluetooth profiles are SPP, HID, and MFi, supporting almost all computer devices including iOS devices, Android devices, and Windows.

■Apple certified・It is of course Apple iOS certified, so operation is reassuring.
・An SDK (Socket Scan 10) is available as a development environment.
・Demo programs (search keywords: Scansetting and Socketpad) can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store.

■Includes "vibration" to signal a read・As a means of signaling that a barcode has been read, it notifies not only by "sound" but also by "vibration."
・Because the end of barcode reading can be recognized even in environments with distracting ambient noise or by operators who have difficulty hearing, work becomes easier and work errors are greatly reduced.

■A charging cradle is available (option)・The DuraScan™ D700/D730 can be charged with the AC adapter included as standard, but a "charging cradle" (sold separately) is also available to reduce the effort of charging.
・With the "charging cradle," the DuraScan™ D700/D730 charges simply by being placed in the cradle, which not only reduces work but also serves as a "stand" for a tidy setup.
