About This Product

This machine uses a laser as the energy source for additive manufacturing, and uses Directed Energy Deposition (DED), which creates while supplying the metal powder material. The DED method requires much less material than the conventional cutting method, which improves productivity by shortening material procurement delivery times and reducing material weight.It also has an environmental impact due to extremely little waste material. A reduction can be expected. By adopting the DED method, it can be used for next-generation design and manufacturing, such as manufacturing that does not require molds, building up parts of existing parts, and creating multiple layers by combining different types of powder. Part of this technology was supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's ``Development of Next-Generation Industrial 3D Printer Technology,'' a project commissioned by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and a project subsidized by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
