About This Product

■Features

This product is compatible with WT-ARC4.0S (100V/200V), so you can weld anywhere. Weighing only 5.6kg, it is very light and easy to carry.It is quite small for a welding machine, so you might wonder if it can really weld properly with something like this, but it can weld well even with a Φ4.0mm welding rod. *Up to Φ2.5mm when used at 100V.

■Equipped with new functions

①Mode selection...LIFT/MMA can be selected, but LIFT is not used. Select MMA. ②VRD: Electric shock prevention function. The voltage is low when there is no load (when not welding). Basically turn it on. ③CURRENT・・・Current adjustment. 100V (30~110A) /200V (30~200A) can be adjusted. Adjust according to the thickness of the welding rod and base material. ④HOT START...You can set the initial current. Normally, when VRD (electric shock prevention) is ON, arc start is slow, but by increasing the initial current, arc start becomes easier. ⑤FORCE　CURRENT・・・Basically set to 50. Setting it higher will result in a flat bead, while setting it lower will create a convex bead. ⑥ Welding rod selection (automatic current setting)...The current is set according to the size of the welding rod, and the current is automatically set when you select the welding rod size to be used. 100V (Φ2.0, Φ2.5mm) /200V (Φ2.0～Φ4.0mm) ⑦ Dial: When you press this dial, ① to ⑥ will light up in order, and when you turn it, you can select and adjust each item. In addition, the appropriate current is programmed into the welding machine body according to the diameter of the welding rod (Φ2.0/2.5/3.2/4.0), so simply selecting the diameter of the welding rod completes the current setting. (You can also make fine adjustments with the dial) *When used with a 100V power generator, a φ2.0 rod (output on the welding machine side is automatically adjusted to 50A) is 3KVA or more, and a φ2.5 rod (output on the welding machine side is automatically adjusted to 70A) is 5-6KVA. You need more than that. When using a generator, a momentary increase in current consumption may cause the generator's protective function to activate and stop the generator, so please prepare one with a rated output that has enough margin. *With the current adjustment (manual) in ③, it is possible to adjust the current up to 110A at 100V, but please limit it to 70A with a general 100V power supply (breaker - 20A).
