■ Mechanism of box car system
The box car system allows you to configure a measurement system according to the application by connecting various independent modules to the main frame SR280. A box car means "box car average", and is a average method used to remove noise when high -frequency noise overlaps with relatively low frequency signals.
In SRS's box car system, signals are analyzed based on the Gate Integrator SR250 and the high -speed sampler SR255. These modules are called "integral instruments", which enables extremely low noise signal analysis by outputting the voltage of the waveform proportional to the integral integral in the integral circuit.
By combining such a measuring device with preamp, computer interface, and data collection software, the minimum necessary box car system can be efficiently configured at low cost.
