About This Product

SmartZap is a fully automatic robotic ESD gun tester. The ESD gun is mounted on a 6-axis robot, and the gun, test position, and test conditions are fully controlled by SmartZap software. Built-in conductive brush removes residual charge from the DUT (device under test).

■Automatic anomaly detection

SmartZap is a fully automated tester with automatic anomaly detection. Provides much better performance than manual ESD gun testing.

■Compliant with IEC61000-4-2 test standard

Conforms to standards applicable to the immunity evaluation of electronic equipment against electrostatic discharges generated directly from the operator or from nearby objects, such as in low relative humidity environments and when synthetic carpets, clothing, etc. are used. I am.

・Support for all ESD gun models ・5-sided zap ・Automatic abnormality detection ・Pickup and placement ・Gun tip replacement ・Connector plug/connector unplug ・Inversion of DUT (test device) ・Pin test ・Customizable report generation ・Test point settings using graphical interface ・Setting test points from the CAD model of the device under test ・Automatic DUT offset correction ・Key press and touch screen ・Discharge brush ・Zap table compliant with IEC61000-4-2

■Setting the application position

The application position can be set from photos taken at each angle with five cameras and CAD data of the DUT (test device).

■Fault detection

Each FD module includes monitoring of 4 analog and digital signals, input with photo sensor and 1KHz sound, communication with call box, relay, and 120V/5A power supply for power cycling the DUT. Boolean operations on monitoring signals to classify fault types. Macro functions for fault detection and step-by-step control of power cycling procedures.

■Automatic function

・Automation function controlled by pneumatics without the addition of electric accessories ・DUT pick and place ・Gun tip replacement ・Connector plug/plug ・DUT inversion ・DUT offset correction: When the test device deviates from its original position, it automatically adjusts to the set test point.
