About This Product

■Product introductionCell-able® does not require any difficult operations or equipment; it is possible to form a large number of spheroids of uniform size in one well simply by seeding cells as you would on a regular plate. In addition, since the spheroids are attached to the bottom surface, fluorescent probe staining, immunostaining, etc. can be easily performed.

■Features・Multi-well plate with cell adhesion surfaces arranged in an array
・Spheroids can be easily formed by simply seeding cells on a plate in the same way as in a general culture vessel.
・Since the spheroid size formed is almost uniform, good test reproducibility can be obtained.
・Adhesive cells such as primary cultured liver cells, established cancer cell lines, and patient-derived cancer cells form spheroids.
・Plates can be selected according to the purpose of the test, from 12 wells to 384 wells, and between clear wall and black wall.

■Spheroid formation with Cell-able®・The culture surface of Cell-able® is patterned with many circular cell adhesion areas. The area other than the adhesive area is coated with a special polymer, so cells cannot adhere to it.
・When cells are seeded on Cell-able®, the cells will gather and adhere to the cell adhesion area by themselves. Proliferating cells proliferate in situ and form spheroids. For cells that do not proliferate, such as primary hepatocytes, spheroids can be formed by increasing the number of cells seeded.
