About This Product

Kawaso Texel manufactures water-cooled heat sinks exclusively for IGBTs. We have a lineup of 11 types and 22 types of products that match the IGBT mounting hole spacing. Improves IGBT/diode performance and achieves stable operation and long life.

■Water cooling heat sink lineup for IGBT/diodes

Two types of materials are available: copper and aluminum. About the material

■Copper C1020

・Copper (398W・m-1・k-1) is a material with the second highest thermal conductivity value after silver (420W・m-1・k-1). - Approximately twice as strong as aluminum (236W・m-1・k-1) and more than 20 times as powerful as stainless steel (16.7W・m-1・k-1), making it a particularly suitable material for heat sinks. ・Can be used in a wide range of applications, from city water to antifreeze, regardless of the refrigerant.

■Aluminum A1050

-Aluminum is lightweight, approximately 1/3 the weight of copper. ・Although the types of refrigerants such as pure water and antifreeze are limited, you can expect a cooling effect with high cost performance. Features of our water-cooled heat sink

■ Uniform cooling of cooling surface

Our water-cooled heat sinks are designed with flow paths that minimize variations in surface temperature.

■Pursuit of surface accuracy

・The performance of water-cooled heat sinks varies greatly depending on the precision of the contact surface with the heat source. ・At our company, flatness and parallelism are kept below 0.02 mm to eliminate gaps with the heat source.

■Brazing the SUS cap

- By using a SUS base that is resistant to deformation, it will not bend when retightened. ・Also, by joining by brazing instead of sealing tape, troubles due to water leakage are prevented.
