About This Product

Overview

■A quick initial response system in the event of an earthquake is based on capturing accurate seismic intensity information using a measuring seismic intensity meter (seismograph) certified by the Japan Meteorological Agency.

Using the seismic intensity calculation algorithm specified in the seismic intensity meter technical standards established by the Japan Meteorological Agency, automatically measures and displays the seismic intensity scale from 0 to 7 when an earthquake occurs, and records and saves various data associated with the earthquake. This is a seismic intensity meter (seismograph) that has passed the Japan Meteorological Agency certification and has a communication function to report the data to the host system. Features

■Meteorological Agency certified product

It has passed the Japan Meteorological Agency certification as a measuring seismic intensity meter.

■Early earthquake detection function

It is possible to install a calculation function based on the seismic specification estimation algorithm specifications (joint patent of the Railway Technical Research Institute and the Japan Meteorological Agency) for early warning seismometers (optional).

■Network compatible

It supports various protocols such as TCP/IP, FTP, and Telnet. Dial-up communication is also possible using modem communication.

■Speed-up information processing using seismic intensity real calculation method

It is possible to construct an immediate warning system with the early warning function that starts transmitting earthquake information to the host system 2.5 seconds after the earthquake trigger is activated (our original patent No. 3241486).

■High-performance A/D conversion technology achieves a high dynamic range of over 130dB

Adopts a 24-bit delta sigma A/D converter. Highly accurate measurement data can be obtained with a high dynamic range that fully utilizes the characteristics of the acceleration sensor.

■High-capacity compact flash card can be installed

A large amount of earthquake information and waveform data can be recorded on a compact flash card. It can be used for data analysis on a computer.

■Color LCD display with good visibility

Adopts a touch panel type 5.7 inch color liquid crystal display. Data display and setting operations can be performed interactively.

■It is also possible to print QR codes on observation data and logs.

Observation data and log records can be converted to QR codes and printed.
