The function of YHLD-100, which detects from 0.5ppm to 13,000ppm, is now cordless. You can freely perform detection while checking on the display at hand. Equipped with an energy saving function using an acceleration sensor.

This is a high-resolution hydrogen leak detector that can detect concentrations ranging from a low concentration of 0.5ppm to a high concentration of 13,000ppm. Achieves quick measurements with high-speed response and real measurements. We have a tabletop type and a handheld type.
Features of hydrogen leak detector
■Uses Yamaha's original MEMS hydrogen sensor
High-resolution detection is possible with Yamaha's unique MEMS sensor. Available from low concentration (0.5ppm) to high concentration (13,000ppm).
■Realizes quick start-up and recovery in less than 1 second
High-throughput testing allows for quick recovery after measurement, allowing you to quickly move on to the next detection.
■Quickly detect danger and warn
If the hydrogen concentration exceeds 13,000ppm (=1.3%), a "danger" message will be displayed, an alarm will be issued, and the measurement will be interrupted.
■Real measurement
Displays the detected value as long as there is hydrogen even in the same concentration atmosphere. There is no deterioration of linearity or saturation of output with high concentration hydrogen.
What is a hydrogen leak detector?
■Leak test using low-cost hydrogen
This is a leak detection device that injects hydrogen into the workpiece and pinpoints the leakage point by holding the sensor over it. Yamaha Finetech has introduced a sniffer method.
■Advantages of using hydrogen
・Hydrogen is cheaper and safer than helium, making leak detection possible safely and at low cost.
・When using 5% H2 and 95% N2 mixed gas, it is non-flammable and safe.
・Can be generated using a generation device.
・The detectable leak rate is intermediate between helium and air, so costs can be reduced by using different types depending on the workpiece.
