About This Product

■Challenge to low-cost innovation Integrated AC servo system

Cool Muscle 3 is an integrated servo system equipped with drivers, encoders, and other devices necessary for motor control. By removing complex functions and narrowing down to the bare minimum, it can be used more simply and at a lower cost.

■Achieves performance equivalent to a servo using a stepping motor

Cool Muscle 3 uses Muscle's unique control technology to eliminate the weaknesses of stepping motors, such as step-out, heat generation, high acceleration/deceleration, and noise, and achieves performance comparable to servo motors. High-precision motion control is now possible at low cost with a simple configuration.

■Contributes to space saving and wiring savings

The motor has a built-in encoder, driver, and controller. No wiring is required and the total volume can be significantly reduced. Especially recommended for desktop devices, mobile devices, and small products where control panel space is difficult to secure. 3 control types

■Direct type (communication control type)

Commands can be sent and received via RS232C serial communication to directly operate the motor. It is possible to position to any position with simple settings such as position, speed, and acceleration. Up to 32 points of motion data can be stored and executed.

■I/O type

Up to 8 points of motion data can be stored and can be selected and executed from input signals. Outputs a signal from the PLC's I/O port and executes the operation registered in the CM3's motion data.

■Pulse type

Outputs a pulse signal from the PLC and controls CM3. It has ABZ output and can be replaced directly with existing systems.

■Torque performance that exceeds that of servo motors

When operating a servo motor continuously, use the rated torque (approximately 30% of the maximum torque). Cool Muscle 3 can use maximum torque even during continuous operation, so when using the motor at low rotational speeds, it is possible to output large torque with a small motor size.
