■What does the device do?

The Singer MK1 Micromanipulator is a compact, highly balanced device that provides delicate, stable handling and effortless precision manipulation of needles and tools. The MK1 is usually used with a stereoscopic microscope on one side or on both sides, and is extremely effective for fine operations under stereoscopic observation at observation magnifications of 1x to 200x.

■How it works

The easy-to-use pencil grip allows you to intuitively operate attached tools as if you were holding a pencil. The ingenious pantograph system is perfectly counterbalanced and accurately transmits straight lines and angles with the needle tip (installation tool) at a reduction rate of 1/4 of the hand movement. Each movement is accurate and smooth, with high reproducibility without backlash or unnecessary movement. Since the bearings are held in place by springs, their wear is automatically compensated for, allowing virtually no repairs and long-term use.
