The NJM2775A is a single-chip IC that has all the functions necessary for recording and playing business micro and compact cassettes. It is equipped with a preamplifier, ALC (Auto Level Control) circuit, power amplifier, and ripple filter.
The preamplifier amplifies the signal from the magnetic head. The ALC circuit limits the input signal to maximize recording levels.
The power amplifier drives the speakers during playback and the magnetic head during recording. The ripple filter stabilizes the power supply to the built-in preamplifier and external condenser microphone. NJM2775A has improved output power compared to NJM2128. Ideal for recording/playing functions of portable tape recorders, etc.
