A small hollow shaft small actuator that is integrated by placing a permanent magnet servo motor and a standard sensation system in the axle direction.
■ A completely new concept is embodied
During the development of Galaxie®, we have fundamentally reviewed the concept of drive technology. As a result, an unprecedented new type of deceleration has been completed. The power is transmitted by multiple teeth by surface contact due to its own athletic. Therefore, the performance that was unprecedented, such as extremely high torque density, high twist rigidity, smooth rotation, positioning accuracy, and backlash free operation, can be realized with this compact Galaxie® drive system and hollow shaft deceleration machine.
■ From line contact to surface contact
At the center of the innovative technology of this new Galaxie® drive system is that power transmission is fully contacted. Therefore, the contact surface of the teeth is 6.5 times larger than the conventional in volute gear, which is a linear contact. As a result, kinematics has been fundamentally renewed. This deceleration machine is the only structure in the world where multiple independent teash moves along the inner teeth of the ring gear. The contact teeth are molded in a logarithmic curve, which contacts the inner teeth of the ring gear in a large area and conveys the power.
■ New generation technology drive device
The Galaxie® drive system achieves performance levels that have not been achieved. This deceleration machine has a rare feature that it is a zero backlash and at the same time that it can maintain the largest twist rigidity for zero crossing (inverted). In addition, since the teeth surface move along the logarithm, good transmission accuracy is secured. The performance of this system is that it clearly embodies another dimension than the conventional hollow shaft deceleration machine with the same outer diameter.
