About This Product

A moisture checker that allows you to easily check moisture levels like an electric tester. You can select a product from various sensor shapes (5 types) depending on the application. (The indicator and sensor are integrated, so the sensor cannot be replaced.)

*User's range function
Although this product can be used as it is when purchased, a user's range is provided that allows customers to freely set the displayed moisture value to bring it even closer to the value obtained using the absolute drying method. Each range (including the standard range) is independent from the other ranges, so you can change the setting values ​​for each user's range according to your desired measurement target.

■Notes on measurement- Unstable powder or granular materials cannot be measured.
・Temperature compensation is performed on the SK-960A main unit. If the temperature is within the measurement temperature range, there is no need to convert the measured value to temperature. However, if there is a temperature difference between the object to be measured and the SK-960A main body, measurement errors will occur. As much as possible, make sure that the object to be measured and the main body are at the same temperature before measuring.
- The measured value will change depending on the pressure with which the sensor is pressed, so please keep the pressure as constant as possible for each measurement.
・Do not press the sensor strongly against the object to be measured, and do not pull or bend the cord strongly. It may be damaged.

■About measured valuesThis product is designed to measure the electrical resistance value between the electrodes installed in the sensor section and display it as a relative moisture value. Moisture display values ​​are not absolute.

The electrical resistance value is only displayed relatively, so if the sample contains conductive substances (salt, metal, etc.), there will be a difference from the actual moisture value. If the proportion of substances contained in the sample is uniform and small (within a range that does not significantly affect the moisture value), this product can be used for comparative testing, etc., depending on the settings of this product.
