The photobioreactor FMT150 features a combination of benchtop cultivator and computer-controlled monitoring equipment. The product line consists of three devices with different capacities of culture vessels (400ml, 1 and 3l). All photobioreactor models come with many useful accessories to help accommodate a variety of special experimental conditions.
■Temperature control
・Temperature range (ambient temperature approx. 23℃): 5 to 75℃ (FMT150/400); 10 to 75℃ (FMT150/1,000 and FMT150/3,000)
・200W Peltier element (FMT150/400 and FMT150/1,000); 400W Peltier (FMT150/3,000)
■Aeration system
- Aeration system provides mixing and air/CO2 supply to the culture
・Integrated stainless steel U-shaped tube with aeration hole (Ø0.7mm) + silicone connection
・Air source: Aeration pump with valve blocks bubbling before outer diameter/fluorescence measurement, prevents bubble interference, and enables more accurate measurements.
Optionally, the photobioreactor FMT150 can be linked to a gas mixing system GMS150 that provides the exact concentration and flow rate of the required gases
