When embedded in soil or substrate, the WET150 sensor simultaneously measures three important variables that influence plant growth: water content, temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC). This is a strong indicator of general nutritional level. The main strength of WET150 is its ability to accurately calculate the pore water conductivity (ECp), i.e. the ionic content of water available to plants.
