About This Product
ShiVox (Super Hypoxia Incubation in vivo glovebox) - ShiVox is Kyodo International's unique system manufactured domestically to meet domestic research needs. We have fulfilled the request to suppress changes in oxygen concentration that occur during microscopic observation, medium exchange, and drug administration during cell culture in low oxygen conditions.
In the cell culture process, it is very important to provide cells with conditions similar to the in-body environment (low oxygen). Changes in oxygen concentration during culture operations also affect the gene expression of cells, which is reflected in their growth.
The ShiVox hypoxic/hyperoxic glove box incubator can provide an environment with constant oxygen concentration, temperature, CO2 concentration, and humidity during a series of cell culture and operation processes. During experimental work such as medium exchange, drug administration, and cell observation, long-term cell culture experiments can be performed without changing the oxygen concentration around the cells.
■Provides a low-oxygen environment with an oxygen concentration of 0.5% or more.
A low oxygen environment is maintained by supplying nitrogen gas. The incubator uses a bending method to minimize welding and ensure airtightness. Please contact us regarding culturing in an environment with an oxygen concentration of 0.5% or less. It can be controlled within the range of CO2 concentration (0.1 to 20.0%).
■It is possible to conduct a series of culture experiments under constant culture conditions without exposure to the atmosphere.
Things can be taken out and put in through the pass box, and cultured and operated inside the glove box, making it possible to culture while maintaining a constant environment. In addition, the air circulation system constantly circulates the air inside the incubator, which maintains a constant internal environment (temperature, oxygen, and CO2 concentration).
■Double wall & air circulation to prevent condensation
Generally, the front part of the incubator is prone to condensation, but condensation can be reduced by making the front part double-layered or exposing it to warm air.
■Nitrogen gas generation system is also available as an option.
Enough nitrogen can be supplied with just a 100V power supply. Reduces the troublesome daily replacement of nitrogen gas cylinders and running costs.
