About This Product

■Summary

The newly developed laser phase contrast microscope differs from the conventional Zernike phase contrast microscope in that it can not only "grayscale imaging of refractive index changes of phase objects such as cells", but also "grayscale imaging by interference" using coherent parallel laser light illumination. We have achieved this. Furthermore, by incorporating a "contrast optimization function for amplitude imaging of transparent phase objects such as cells", it is possible to observe high-contrast images regarding the shape and size of intracellular structures, etc. without causing halo artifacts. did. We have also confirmed the observation of 80nm microparticles and the nucleus of oral epithelial cells, and we believe that this system also has the potential to be used as a super-resolution microscope.
