About This Product

■ Safe and quick measurement of oily residue in LPG The relatively long transfer lines in conventional injection equipment tend to cause component retention and adsorption. The Liquefied Gas Ingester (LGI) was developed to further safely and accurately analyze these complex structures. Injecting under high pressure directly onto the GC column prevents any fractionation that occurs during passage through the vaporizer and heated transfer line. Quantitative detection of high-boiling components in low-boiling matrices, solving analytical challenges. ■Features ・High-speed high-pressure injection (max. 50bar) ・Do not recognize and separate ・Sample size from 10 to 500 μL ・Low dead volume ・Low maintenance and user friendly ■Application example ・Mineral oil in high DIPA and LPG ・Azel Diesel ・Pole oil in ethylene ・TBC in butadiene ・Alcohol in HC field stream ■Analysis of DIPA and mineral oil in LPG Several properties of automotive LPG have been tested. After amine treatment to remove sulfur, bulk LPG is evaporated and tested for DIPA and oil contamination, and the residue is weighed. In ISO13757 (LPG - Determination of oily residues - high temperature method), LGI is an alternative method to ISO13757. GC analysis is more accurate and safer, and a sample volume of 250 mL is sufficient. For total mineral oil contamination, DIPA content can be analyzed at sub-ppm levels.
