The spherical inner ring is made of high carbon chromium bearing steel (SUJ2) that is hardened, polished, and chromated to minimize frictional resistance on the contact surface. The housing is made of carbon steel (S45C) and the bushing is made of copper-zinc alloy. It also comes with a grease nipple, so regular lubrication is possible.
For JF20 and above and JM20 and above, the part numbers are JFG and JMG, respectively. The G type uses a spherical bearing (GE..FO-2RS) on the spherical inner ring, and is manufactured with heavy loads and a large allowable tilt angle in mind. Also, since it comes with a seal, it can be used in adverse environments such as rain, snow, dust, and mud.
*Be sure to apply sufficient grease when installing.
*We recommend lithium-based grease containing molybdenum, NLGI consistency number 2 or 3.
■Structure and features
JMC rod ends consist of a spherical inner ring, a housing, and a bush. The housing has a shaft and is machined with male or female threads (right-hand or left-hand threads, respectively). The inner ring and housing are in spherical contact, and it is a self-aligning spherical sliding bearing that can carry radial loads and axial loads in both directions at the same time. There are lubrication types and non-lubrication types depending on the lubrication method. Suitable for rocking motion, centering motion, etc., it is widely used in control mechanisms and joint movement parts of machine tools, construction machinery, packaging machinery, etc.
