About This Product

Transformer with built-in self-holding thermal protector. Accident recurrence prevention transformer.

■Purpose

If a control circuit or system problem causes a burnout of a transformer or equipment used, significant losses will occur. The purpose is to prevent such losses.

■Features

- Even if an abnormal situation occurs in the transformer, the transformer itself has the ability to cut off the power supply. - A transformer with a built-in thermal fuse becomes unusable after a single accident, but the EP series can be used over 300 times over the guaranteed number of thermal protectors. ・The EP series can prevent recurrence of accidents with conventional wiring. ・Once the non-automatic return type (bimetal element) that increases the safety of electrical equipment reaches the specified operating temperature, it opens the (switch) with a snap action and heats the PTC heater that is electrically grounded in parallel. The heat efficiently prevents the bimetal from reversing and keeps the contacts open until the transformer or electrical equipment is turned off. ・Built-in ceramic PTC (automatic temperature control type) heater ・EN standard (voltage maintenance type overheating prevention device) 250Vac satisfies the requirement of "maintaining -20℃" ・Satisfies the UL standard "0℃ maintenance" requirement with 125/250Vac common use ・Working voltage range AC90V to 250V (for AC circuit only)
