■Applications
The Air Data Test Set CPA8001 (ADTS) is a pressure controller specifically designed for the calibration of aerospace technology measurement equipment. The CPA controller is used for the calibration of analog altimeters, rate of climb indicators, speedometers, digital sensors, and air data computers. The prefabricated construction of the Air Data Test Set model CPA8001 guarantees maximum adaptability to suit all your requirements.
■Design
The Air Data Test Set CPA8001 is available as a desktop instrument or a 19" rackmount unit. The instrument has two control units and a reference pressure sensor CPR8001. Sensors can be changed via the front without taking out the complete controller (e.g. outside the calibration rig).
■Function
A large, high-resolution touch screen and intuitive, user-friendly menu navigation ensure maximum air data test set operability. The navigation menu is available in multiple languages.
The large touchscreen displays all the information you need on one screen, including current readings, altitude, altitude rate, wind speed, and acceleration settings. Optionally, measurements can also be displayed in different pressure units. Additionally, users can easily create extensive test programs using the instrument menu.
The pressure controller can also be controlled remotely via the available serial interface. This allows for a wide range of other ADTS equipment emulation command sets.
■Complete testing and calibration system
On request, it is also possible to manufacture complete mobile or fixed test systems. It has IEEE-488.2, RS-232, USB, and Ethernet interfaces for communicating with other equipment and can be integrated into existing systems.
