■Product description
The high-speed pressure sensor model CPT6140 is a compact model with a 250Hz output mode, 4ms response time and a freely selectable measurement range from -1...400 bar (-15...+6,000 psi). It's a durable sensor. Precise measurement technology with an accuracy of FS ±0.025% (IS-50) ensures that the sensor remains suitable for 365 days for a variety of applications.
■Applications
These high-precision pressure sensors are also integrated into OEM products, such as pressure, flow, and humidity calibrators, as well as a variety of instruments that require high-speed measurements. This pressure sensor is configured in IEEE-754 format streaming output mode, which prohibits sending commands or queries to the user when in native mode.
This product is used as a reference pressure sensor in automatic production of pressure measuring equipment and in calibration stands. The CPT6140's high accuracy, reading speed, and long-term stability make it particularly suitable for wind tunnel, chamber pressure, leak and burst testing applications. These features provide useful tools in metrology, hydrogeology, oceanography and the aeronautical and space industries.
■Function
Model CPT6140 has an RS-232 interface as standard, and an RS-485 interface can be added as an option. This sensor can be configured for various measurement ranges within the maximum gauge and absolute pressure values. And with a recalibration period of 180 or 365 days, the CPT6140's high resolution of 6 digits makes it suitable for a variety of applications.

The robust and compact design of the pressure sensor allows for easy integration into 19" racks. The combination of male and female threads allows quick and secure installation at any time, without the need for further sealing.
