■Description of diaphragm pressure switch
These high quality diaphragm switches have been developed for applications where safety is paramount. High quality and ISO9001 compliant manufacturing ensure reliable monitoring in your plant. Every step of the manufacturing process is traced using quality verification software and is 100% tested.
The wetted surfaces are made of stainless steel as standard. In order to guarantee as flexible an operation as possible, the diaphragm pressure switch is fitted with a microswitch that allows direct switching of electrical loads up to 250 V, 20 A.
Gold plated contacts, argon gas filled microswitches are optionally available for low contact power ratings such as those used in PLCs. By using a diaphragm system, the model MW diaphragm pressure switch is robust and guarantees the best operating characteristics. For applications that require special materials for wetted parts, we can accommodate PTFE, Monel, Hastelloy, etc.
At setpoints between 4 and 40 bar, the piston replaces the diaphragm. By changing the wetted parts to stainless steel, it is especially suitable when the pressure medium is liquid.
