The Form4's build speed is powered by Formlabs' new Low Force Display print engine, which includes ultra-high-power LEDs, collimating lenses, optical filters, and a rugged LCD display. This engine instantly cures each layer of resin, regardless of the size or quantity of the printed product.
No matter which resin you use, Form4 meets tight tolerance requirements and is able to print to design parameters.
■What is LFD (Low Force Display) technology?
The Form4 features a custom LCD print engine, powerful backlit optics, a patent-pending peel-off texture, and a composite film tank. Experience unprecedented levels of speed, reliability, print quality, and material performance in one affordable tool.
■Resin tank for Form4
The bottom of the Form4 resin tank uses two layers of highly flexible and strong film to achieve uniform, high-quality modeling. Separate tanks can be used for each color and type of resin, making it easy to change materials by simply swapping tanks. The resin tank can print at least 75,000 layers (1-2 years for the average user), ensuring consistent print quality every time.
■Build platform for Form4
The surface of the Form4 build platform is made of durable aluminum. By preparing multiple build platforms, you can start the next print while changing resin or unloading a print, making your workflow faster than ever and achieving non-stop continuous printing. .
