About This Product

CPF233AL is an OEIC for front monitors that was developed to enable control of the laser power of BD/DVD/CD pickups with a single IC. Equipped with a serial interface, it is possible to select four gain modes (coarse gain adjustment) and ±4.7dB gain adjustment (fine gain adjustment).

Additionally, the number of parts can be reduced because a variable resistor for gain adjustment is not required. Since the PIN photodiode has a built-in high-speed amplifier, output impedance is low and stable output can be obtained. The COB-8PIN (2.4mm x 2mm) package makes it ideal for small and thin pickups.
