Injection molded magnets are magnets that are made by injection molding a magnetic material made of a compound of magnetic powder and thermoplastic resin using an injection molding machine and a mold. Rare earth (NdFeB, SmCo, SmFeN) and ferrite magnetic powders are commonly used as magnetic materials. Nylon (PA12, PA6) and PPS are commonly used as thermoplastic resins. Although the magnetic properties are lower than those of sintered magnets, they are less likely to crack or chip, and by performing a variety of magnetic field forming, insert forming, and two-color forming, it is possible to create shapes with a high degree of freedom, including complex special shapes.
