An angle head is an attachment used on machine tools to enable machining from a vertical direction.

There are two types of angle heads: threaded and clamping. While threaded types are cost-effective, they pose a risk of detachment or breakage. On the other hand, clamping types have a lower risk of detachment or breakage, allowing for high-precision machining. When using, it is important to ensure secure fixation of the cutting tool, and when aiming for high-precision machining, attention should be given to the use of clamping types.
