■Summary
Honeywell HF520 is an embedded 2D scanner that uses unique LED lighting to smoothly read QR codes on LCD screens. With a compact design of approximately 4.2 x 4.2 x 3.3 cm, it is ideal for integration into space-saving equipment such as KIOSK terminals.

■Ideal for LCD reading Equipped with diffuser function
It has excellent performance in reading QR coupons and member barcodes displayed on the LCD screen, and can smoothly read general-purpose 1D and 2D symbols as well as mobile tickets. We have also succeeded in developing a diffuser function, which was difficult to incorporate in products of the same class, and achieved the best reading in its class.
■Compact design ideal for integration
With a compact design of approximately 4.2 x 4.2 x 3.3 cm, it is ideal for integration into space-saving equipment such as KIOSK terminals. There are screw holes for fixing on the side and bottom of the main unit, and it can be installed using M2/M3 screws. In addition, the dustproof performance of IP40 allows installation in dusty locations. The connector (10pin RJ41) can be used as a USB port or RS232 serial port by using a conversion cable.
■QR payment/mobile payment
By linking with the host system, it can be used as an embedded module that is ideal for QR payments and mobile payments.
■Increases the degree of freedom of installation into embedded devices. Proximity reading is possible.
HF520 is equipped with a uniquely developed wide-angle lens. Compared to competing products from other companies, it is closer to contact and enables reading at extremely close distances. This reduces the space needed to install devices such as kiosks, making it possible to install devices that previously could not be installed.
■Can also read printed barcodes
Although the HF520 specializes in reading LCDs for mobile payments, QR payments, etc., it is also capable of reading barcodes printed on paper and barcodes printed on labels.
