■Summary
The Honeywell SL22/SL42 series is a barcode reader that can be attached to a smartphone (Apple device). With the iPod touch 5G/6G/7G case and barcode reader unit design, we have simplified the scanning and data collection of barcodes, 2D symbols, postal codes, OCR (optional) and communication tasks. You can use your own iPod touch, iPhone5/5s, so you can install a business terminal at a low cost. SL42 for iPhone5/5S/SE is also available.
■Best-in-class reading accuracy and mobile object reading
Adaptus 6.0 Imaging technology provides best-in-class read accuracy and mobile read performance. It is also possible to read difficult-to-read labels such as damaged barcodes. There are two scan buttons on the left and right sides of the main body, allowing you to read comfortably regardless of your dominant hand.
■Easy device attachment
SL22/SL42 allows you to attach and detach Apple devices (iPhone, iPod touch) by opening and closing the top of the scanner. Securely insert the attached device into the connector on the scanner body.
■Anti-theft security lock
A unique mechanism that uses Torx screws (star-shaped) (locks the safety device on the main unit) completely secures the device and the thread main body, preventing the iPhone from being removed and stolen.
■Improved drop resistance performance
Passed the 1.2m drop test. Protects iOS devices whose screens are often damaged due to drops.
*It is not intended to alleviate direct impact to the screen part.
■Auto charging to iPhone/iPod
It detects the low battery level of your iPhone/iPod and automatically starts charging.
■Interlocking with iOS application
We provide an SDK exclusively for the Caputuvo SL series. By using the dedicated SDK, it is possible to link with iOS applications.
