Reading distance from 15cm to 16m with autofocus. Highly robust with IP65 drop resistance of 2m. The 1980i is a highly robust 2D scanner designed with the latest autofocus technology for barcode reading over long distances, such as when working on a forklift.
■Outstanding reading depth Full range imaging technology
The aimer, which uses a laser pointer, makes it easy to capture the code to be read, making it possible to read 1D and 2D codes from a distance of up to 16m. It is also possible to read high resolution codes of 0.05mm at short distances (15cm to 30cm). It is also excellent at reading fine barcodes and has excellent versatility that can be used in a wide range of applications.
It is resistant to camera shake, has an extremely fast response, and can read 1D barcodes and 2D symbols from all 360° directions. Even damaged barcodes and barcodes with low printing accuracy can be read over a wide range without stress.
■IP65 robust body with the highest durability in its class
Overmolded shock absorbing rubber provides excellent impact resistance. It has passed a rotational tumbling test of 5,000 times (1m) at a temperature of -30℃ and a drop test of 50 times from a height of 2m onto concrete, so you can use it with confidence even in harsh work sites. .
■Wide range of operating temperatures Compatible with cold storage
The operating temperature is -30°C to 50°C (storage temperature -40°C to 70°C), making it compatible with a wide range of environments. It supports speedy work even in harsh working environments, such as reading in hot factories and refrigerated and frozen warehouses.
■Large volume buzzer and vibration function
Equipped with a ``loud buzzer'' and ``vibration function'' that allow for smooth reading even in noisy environments or in dimly lit areas.
■Industrial cable options Highly durable cables
The cable is securely locked by inserting the cable into the scanner body, sliding the metal part, and screwing it down. As an option, we offer an "industrial cable" that can be bent 300,000 times at a 90° angle in an extremely cold environment of -30°C and maintain communication even when 27 kg of force is applied. This cable is ideal for harsh work environments.
