■Summary
Although Voyager 1470g is an entry model, it has excellent reading performance and can read from all 360° directions without worrying about barcode orientation. It is possible to upgrade to a 2D code reader after installing it as a 1D barcode reader. Ideal for use with retail store POS registers, it can also read damaged barcodes and barcodes and QR codes displayed on the LCD screens of mobile phones.
■Excellent decoding technology｜Accurately reads even barcodes with no height
Although Voyager 1470g is an entry model, it is equipped with a CMOS engine and allows you to experience Honeywell's excellent decoding technology. 1D barcodes and 2D codes can be read from all 360° directions, regardless of their orientation. It exhibits excellent reading performance even for low-quality barcodes, such as barcodes with low contrast (low PCS), lightly printed barcodes, and damaged barcodes.
■2D upgrade｜Honeywell's only feature
By reading the license code, it is possible to upgrade to a 2D code reader after installing it as a 1D barcode reader. Even if it becomes necessary to read 2D codes such as QR codes while operating as a 1D barcode reader, there is no need to change the barcode reader equipment, which can significantly reduce costs.
■Automatic reading mode with dedicated stand Flexible stand (standard accessory)
When placed on the dedicated stand, the scanner switches to presentation mode and automatically detects and reads barcodes by simply holding them over the barcode.
